Cardinal Habit #6: Read Daily

“Fill your house with stacks of books, in all the crannies and all the nooks.”

Dr. Seuss

Reading daily is one of the most important daily rituals a person can participate in. Nothing expands your mind more than through the act of reading. All books are a form of historical thinking and experience that makes the reader consider it, whether fiction or nonfiction. It builds a foundation of knowledge for the reader to utilize when creating their own thoughts and decisions. It expands the reader’s worldview. It allows them to make more nuanced opinions on aspects of life. It’s necessary for the growth of the mind. I don’t think there is any way to break out of the shell of your current life than through the act of reading on a daily basis.
